India ka Smartphone from Xiaomi

Xiaomi is ready to launch Desh ka Smartphone in India on November 30, a device that the company began to bother earlier this week. We do not know much about the smartphone, with the company leaving very few tips for us to wonder too much. Having said that, Redmi India Twitter handles on Friday that the smartphone would have a great battery life - pointing to either a large battery or an optimized software in the form of MIUI 9. The other hint is the wording of tagline with 'Desh ka Smartphone' means It would be an affordable deal.

India is certainly an important market for Xiaomi, where the company has more "global" launches in the country, or more specifically to reveal products for the first time globally at events in the country. Examples of this include Xiaomi Mi A1 and MIUI 9 Global Stable ROM. Xiaomis Desh ka Smartphone may be one of these offers, one that has not been revealed elsewhere (read, China). Or it may be an offer that has already been launched.

Speculation points to Xiaomi Redmi 5A as the primary candidate for launch on 30 November. The biggest factor in its advantage is that the Redmi India handle was used to tweet, which showed that it would be a Redmi-labeled device. The second biggest factor in its favor is its price - CNY 599 (approximately Rs. 5,800).

If Xiaomi manages to bring the smartphone to India at a lower price than it was made available in China, Xiaomi Redmi 5A can be significantly cheaper than Xiaomi Redmi 4A, which is currently the cheapest smartphone offering from Xiaomi in India. Another factor that points to Redmi 5A as a smartphone to start next week is its battery life - Xiaomi says it will offer battery life up to 8 days, which is quite extraordinary. It also runs MIUI 9 out of the box.

As for the Xiaomi Redmi 5A specifications, the dual-SIM smartphone has a 5-inch HD (720x1280 pixel) display with a pixel density of 296ppi. Like its predecessor, the new model is also powered by quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 SoC, clocked at 1.4 GHz, and combined with 2GB of RAM.
The Redmi 5A comes with 16GB of built-in storage that can be expanded further through microSD cards (up to 128GB). The dual SIM smartphone packs a 3000mAh battery that seems to be a downgrade compared to the 2016's Redmi 4A.

The handset has a 13-megapixel rear camera with f / 2.2 aperture, burst mode, panorama mode, HDR mode and more. It comes with a 5-megapixel front camera with f / 2.0 aperture. It supports 1080p and 720p video capture. Connectivity options on the Redmi 5A include 4G with VoLTE, 3G, GPRS / EDGE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and Micro USB. It comes with a hybrid SIM slot.
